Mimi Sheiner holds an MA in Art from Lone Mountain College and previously studied at Cornell University College of Architecture. Her work has won several awards and has appeared at the De Young Museum and the Pasadena Design Center. Recent projects include design and illustration of culturally specific, low literacy health education materials for San Francisco General Hospital and posters for the new music composer Paul Dresher. Mimi teaches Fine Art and Design at San Francisco State University, The University of San Francisco and Dominican University. She also cultivates blueberries, strawberries and grapes in her garden.
