After acquiring diverse subsidiaries in the 1980’s, Systron Donner wished to project a unified theme across assorted trade journals. Two illustrators were commissioned to complete art from marker comps for each of the images in this campaign: one rendered chrome and the other was an expert patent illustrator. Ad readership jumped.

La Clinica de La Raza
This series of 24 easily photocopied brochures addressed the psychological barriers to treatment faced by low-literacy diabetes patients. The meal-planning series is shown. Others in the series addressed exercise, medications and blood sugar.
